Retainly is pre-launch. Today the only thing we collect is what you give us to join the waitlist. This page explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. The short version: your data is yours — we don't sell it, and we don't train models on it.

Who we are

Retainly ("we", "us") operates retainlyapp.com and is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What we collect

Your email address — when you join the waitlist.
Referral data — a referral code we generate for you, the code of whoever invited you (if any), and a count of people you've referred.
Basic technical data — standard request information (such as IP address and timestamp) processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.

We don't currently use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we don't run third-party analytics or ad pixels here. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

How we use it

To send you a confirmation that you're on the waitlist, and one email when Retainly launches.
To run the referral program (generating your invite link and crediting referrals).
To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and securing the waitlist — including sending your confirmation and the one launch notification you signed up for. If we ever introduce optional marketing emails or non-essential cookies, we'll rely on your consent and ask for it first.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers ("processors") to operate the waitlist:

Cloudflare — website hosting and our database, where your email and referral data are stored.
Resend — to send our emails.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own agreements. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it to train AI models. Some of these providers are based in the United States; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist data until Retainly launches and you've had the chance to create an account, or until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe — whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we keep the minimum needed to honour that choice (so we don't email you again).

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Access the data we hold about you, or get a copy of it;
Correct it if it's wrong;
Delete it;
Withdraw any consent you've given, or opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (we don't sell it regardless);
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The unsubscribe link in any of our emails lets you stop emails or delete your data entirely, right there. You can also email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Children

Retainly isn't directed to children, and you must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country) to join the waitlist.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, let you know by email where appropriate.
